Pride tennis finish season on top, followed by Turlock

Pitman High finished its season undefeated on the tennis court with a 9-0 victory over Buhach Colony High on Tuesday. The Pride (10-0 CCC) had already solidified their position as Central California Conference Champions prior to the match.

Pitman capsizes Turlock in dual swim meet

Pitman High's boys and girls sailed to convincing victories over Turlock High on Thursday. The Pride hosted the Bulldogs in their first Central California Conference meet of the season as their boys won 112-64 and their girls won 108-75.

Pitman, Turlock track athletes leave field dead even

It was windy and cold when Turlock and Pitman high met on the track of Joe Debely Stadium on Wednesday. In their first and only head to head meet of the season the Bulldogs and Pride competed neck and neck in nearly every event as their athletes vied for personal bests and a team victory.

Pitman softball sweeps Turlock for fifth consecutive win

Pitman High continued its quest to the top of the Central California Conference softball standings this week with its sweep of rival Turlock High. The Pride (6-2 CCC) played the Bulldogs (0-8 CCC) on Wednesday and Thursday, winning their first matchup 8-2 and their second 10-0.

Turlock golf prevails over Pride

After some scheduling changes, Turlock and Pitman High finally met at the Turlock Country Club for their first Central California Conference matchup. Wednesday's winds proved to be a daunting obstacle as the Bulldogs (6-0 CCC) and Pride (4-2 CCC) chipped away at the course hole by hole.

Pitman tennis clinches seventh CCC title with win against Turlock

Last time Turlock and Pitman High met on the tennis court the Pride (9-0 CCC) defeated a Bulldog (7-2 CCC) team that was missing its top three singles players. On Tuesday the cross town rivals met once again, in their final matchup of the season, to decide who would claim this year's Central California Conference championship.

Turlock baseball exits first game against Pitman with a win

Turlock and Pitman high met on the baseball field Tuesday afternoon for the first time this season. The Bulldogs (4-3 CCC) and Pride (3-4 CCC) entered their matchup in a tie for third place in the Central California Conference, adding fuel to the already heated rivalry.

The girls of Turlock and Pitman high's soccer teams met for the second time on Tuesday night, this time under the lights at Joe Debely Stadium.

TC, Denair baseball split series

Turlock Christian High and Denair High played a series of baseball games on Wednesday and Friday, splitting the matchups. The Eagles (5-1 SAL) entered Wednesday's game at Pedretti Park undefeated but left with a loss after the Coyotes (2-4 SAL) earned a hard fought 4-3 victory. TC responded with vengeance on Friday, beating Denair 7-3.

Eagles tennis loses team battle against Delhi

Turlock Christian and Delhi high school tennis teams met on Brenda Athletic Club's courts in Turlock on Thursday. The Eagles entered their meeting against the formidable Hawks knowing full well their incomplete squad wouldn't win the team match. Despite the circumstances, TC pressed forward; playing for the pride of competition and self improvement.

Lady Bulldogs still looking for a win

Turlock High hosted Golden Valley High's softball team on Wednesday, determined to win its first league game of the season. The Bulldogs (0-5 CCC) looked poised to do just that from the beginning of the afternoon matchup against the Cougars (2-3 CCC) but one inning changed everything, resulting in a 14-10 comeback win for Golden Valley.

Pride sweep Falcons

After dropping both its games against number one seed Buhach Colony High last week, the Pitman High baseball team rebounded with a sweep over Atwater High on Thursday. The Pride hosted the Falcons in their final matchup of the week, notching a 5-2 victory.

Turlock’s girls still undefeated on the soccer field

Turlock High's girls soccer team continued its streak of success against Merced High on Tuesday night. Under the lights in Joe Debely Stadium - and in the rain - the Bulldogs (6-0-1 CCC) beat the Bears (2-3-2 CCC) 3-1, remaining undefeated and in the number one spot in the Central California Conference.

Murphy locks up Bulldog victory from the mound

Turlock High's Tyler Murphy helped the Bulldogs (2-3 CCC) overcome Golden Valley High (2-3 CCC) on Tuesday as he manned the mound for all seven innings. Murphy opened the game with five straight strike outs and ended the day with a total of 13 strike outs in the 4-1 victory over the Cougars.
