Walk off playoff loss ends the year for Pride

Tuesday's baseball playoff bout in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division-I bracket was an elimination game for No. 5 Pitman and No. 3 St. Mary's High and their varsity baseball teams, and in the end only one team was moving on while the other was calling it a year.

Local schools advance 27 athletes to Masters track

The Sac-Joaquin Section Divisional tournament concluded last Friday for local schools and when the day ended a total of 27 local athletes from Turlock, Pitman, Delhi and Hilmar high schools had punched their ticket to the Masters tournament.
