Pitman High's Logan Wolfley had high hopes for his 2013 high school wrestling season but a combination of tough brackets and an elbow injury led to a disappointing finish for the Pride junior. Although he finished with a 40-11 record, his 1-2 finish at Masters and 8th place Section ranking was less than he had hoped for.
The last time Denair and Delhi High met on the tennis courts the Coyotes won a close 5-4 match, propelling them into the top of the Southern Athletic League standings right behind undefeated Ripon Christian High.

The 2013 baseball season has been one of youth and rebuilding for Delhi, Denair, Turlock Christian, and Hilmar High. All four schools have hit the field with a roster made up of players with little varsity experience, but their rawness hasn't detracted from their game-time efforts. Though growth may be a steady and sometimes difficult process, Hawks, Coyotes, Eagles, and Yellowjackets alike are taking up the challenge and swinging for the fences.
Pre-season is officially over for the softball teams of Delhi, Denair, Turlock Christian, and Hilmar High. Now, with the hunt for league standings and post-season berths underway, the various lady players from around the area are doing their best to excel under their different sets of circumstances.

Pitman High had a successful outing at the Stanislaus County Meet on Friday as its girls finished in first place with 154 team points and its boys finished second with 80 team points. Turlock High wasn't too far behind its cross-town rival as both its girls and boys finished in third place with 78 and 70 respective team points.
Turlock Christian High's girls basketball season officially ended Saturday night in the second round of the CIF Division V State Playoffs. The Eagles faced off against International High in a competitive contest, but the Jaguars managed to stay a few steps ahead throughout the matchup and walked off their home court with a 61-47 victory.
