After the greatest Warrior campaign thus far in 2012, men's soccer head coach Dana Taylor has announced the signing of seven outstanding players - four incoming freshmen and three transfers - for the 2013 season.

Three years ago Vince Wheeland helped lead Turlock High into the Division I South San Joaquin Section Championship game against St. Mary's High. The then senior finished the season with a .74 ERA, 13 wins, and 147 strike outs over the course of 85 innings and was named the MVP of the Bulldogs, the Central California Conference, and the Stanislaus District, as well as making the all-state team. With his productivity and power from the hill, few were surprised when Big 12 contender Oklahoma State University recruited him.

The first day of this year's Tournament of Champions didn't go as planned for California State University, Stanislaus. Two days after snapping an eight game losing streak with a pair of victories over Montana State-Billings University, the Warriors again found themselves in the loser's bracket as they fell to Sonoma State University, 5-7, Western Oregon University, 6-7, and Notre Dame de Namur, 8-10.
