The Stanislaus State baseball team sprayed more hits with another starting pitcher throwing up blanks as the Warriors defeated William Jessup, 7-0, Saturday afternoon to complete the three-game series sweep.
The last time a Warriors women's basketball team won seven straight games, that team advanced to the NCAA tournament. That was the 2002-03 season. This year's team matched that seven-game winning streak with a 63-50 win over Cal State San Marcos Saturday night.
For a while it looked like the Warriors men's basketball team was going to set a new team record for holding the Pioneers under 40 points. That's until the final, wild, final 40 seconds of the game. In the end, Stanislaus State was able to hang on to beat Cal State East Bay, 54-50, Saturday night.
