Warriors volleyball fails to net victory

California State University, Stanislaus' volleyball team had a tough weekend, dropping both Friday's match against San Francisco State and Saturday's match against Sonoma State in straight sets. After opening the CCAA season with a straight set victory against Humboldt State, the Warriors (4-8 overall, 1-3 CCAA) have lost their last three matches without a single set win.

Stanislaus men tie with Sonoma

California State University, Stanislaus' men's soccer team entered their match against Sonoma State with fresh legs on Sunday, a benefit afforded to them by Humboldt State's disciplinary season cancellation that gave the Warriors Friday off. As it turned out the rest wasn't much of an advantage, as the two CCAA teams battled it out at Rohnert Park and were forced to settle for a tie, 1-1.
