Bonander named to college All-Academic Team

Former Turlock High water polo standout Eric Bonander was recently named to the Western Water Polo Association's All-Academic Team. Bonander, a 2009 Turlock graduate, earned the honor by carrying a 3.0 cumulative GPA and competing in at least 50 percent of Whittier College's water polo season as a full time student. Bonander, a junior, finished the 2012 season with 9 goals on 19 attempts, 12 assists, 22 drawn ejections, and 11 steals.
