The Turlock American 12-year-old All Star team tore through the 2015 District 73 Majors All Star Tournament last week, showcasing a high-output offense and a stingy defense that respectively earned 48 runs and allowed only 10 runs through four games. The American All Stars' championship capstone was set on Sunday in a showdown with the Turlock Nationals that saw the Americans win 12-1 in four innings.
It was a white-hot start to the 2015 District 73 9/10 All Star Tournament for the Turlock American All Stars who beat Mariposa 11-3 in the opening game before taking down Los Banos 11-6 in the quarterfinals. Turlock's heat didn't last for long though, instead it dissipated over the next two games with a 6-9 loss to Atwater in the semifinals and a 8-11 loss to Mariposa in the losers' bracket.
