New Masters program offers swim workouts for fitness seekers and competitive athletes
The new Turlock Masters Swim Club will offer coaching and camaraderie to adults who have an interest in swimming.

FASTPITCH SOFTBALL
The OBS Monarchs 12-and-under A Division Fastpitch Softball Team won the October Madness World Series Qualifier at Big League Dreams held Oct. 9-10. The team, which includes players from the Stockton, Manteca, Oakdale and Turlock area went 4-1-1 for the weekend. The Monarchs beat the Magnum Force in the championship game 5-2.
Turlock grad ready to take on the world — again
Ali Cox's decision to return to competitive rowing wasn't very sudden. It wasn't an epiphany waking her up from her sleep in the middle of the night. She wanted to make sure this was what she wanted to do again, and that she was ready for it.
