Eleven years ago, on the clear morning of September 11th, 2001, the men and women that went to work at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and those that boarded United flights 93 and 175, and American Airlines flights 11 and 77, did not know the tragic fate that lay before them.
A low-cost spay and neuter clinic is needed immediately in our town of Turlock. There are abandoned and feral cats everywhere, on the street, in the neighborhood, in parking lots of shopping areas and restaurants.

Ana and I attended the vigil at the Sikh temple in Turlock on Friday evening. It was a solemn ceremony, with the participation of most of the Turlock Sikh community and of the city's elected leadership.
