Turlock edges Pitman again in back-to-back battles

Pitman and Turlock High met on the diamond again on Friday after squaring off on Wednesday to make it two games in three days between the two cross town rivals, and fortunately for the home team, Turlock, things would end well again.

Turlock Wrestling places 11th at Reno Worlds

The Turlock Wrestling Club marked the end of the Folkstyle season with an 11th place team finish at last weekend's 2015 Flo Reno Worlds Championships. Eight of the club's 28 participating wrestlers placed fifth or better in their respective brackets, including Mason Ontiveros (60) who won gold in the 6U division.

Pitman snatches victory from Turlock

Pitman High hosted rival Turlock High Tuesday afternoon in the second cross-town soccer match of the season. The Bulldogs (7-2-1 CCC) entered the match on a five-game win streak and with a share of first place in the Central California Conference. The Pride (4-4-2 CCC) entered with third-place status in the CCC and the memory of their last meeting with Turlock, a 3-1 loss, fresh in their minds.
