Turlock, Pitman to leave CCC

Turlock's two high schools have called the Central California Conference the home of their athletic league play for quite some time, with Turlock High School serving as one of its founding members and Pitman High School finishing up its 13th season within the conference. Now, thanks to a realignment of the Sac-Joaquin Section, the Bulldogs and the Pride are set to join the Modesto Metro Conference come August 2018.

Pitman wrestling makes history, sending five to state championship

A total of 30 wrestlers from Pitman, Turlock, Hilmar and Delhi high schools competed in this year's two-day California Interscholastic Federation's Sac-Joaquin Section Masters tournament from Stockton Arena on Friday and Saturday. By the end of the tournament 10 wrestlers had qualified and will advance to the prestigious California State Wrestling Tournament starting March 3.
