House Subcommittee Hearing on Veterans' Affairs
Representative Jeff Denham hosted a hearing with the Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Health at the Modesto American Legion Hall on Thursday. Representative Jerry McNerney (CA-11) attended. In this hearing, the Subcommittee examined the role of veterans centers, such as the Modesto Veteran Center, and looked at the challenges faced by the Veterans Health Administration in responding to the readjustment needs of the over 1.8 million veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
