Victoria Yousif, 86 of Ceres, passed away in Daly City on Sunday. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Church of the East, Mar Addai. The burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
Victoria was born in Mosul, Iraq to Yacob and Hayat in 1923. Victoria lived in Kirkuk and Bagdad, Iraq, and San Jose before settling in Ceres in 2004. She was a member of the Assyrian Church of the East. God and family were her life.
Victoria is survived by her children Juliet David, Peious Yoseph, Jeany Tammo, Margaret Yousif, Almas Yousif and Romi Joseph; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Eramia Yousif.
