Darshan Singh Butter

Darshan Butter, 71 of Livingston, passed away on Tuesday at Country Villa in Modesto. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Allen Mortuary. A funeral service will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Allen Mortuary with cremation following.
Darshan was born in India to Banchand and Tej in 1938. He was a farmer in India until he moved to the United States in 1988. He had lived in the Livingston area since that time. He was a member of the Livingston Sikh Temple.
Darshan is survived by his wife Harbans K. Butter; children Jaspal S. Butter, Ranjit K. Butter, and Salinder K. Butter; brother Rasham Singh; and eight grandchildren.
