Nancy Clark, who served as Chair of the CSU Stanislaus Nursing Department for 29 years until her retirement in 2008, has been named to the Central San Joaquin Valley Nursing Hall of Fame.
Clark was recognized for her teaching and advocacy for community health nursing throughout her 40-year nursing career. She also governed the CSU Stanislaus Department of Nursing through expansion that brought a four-year pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 2002, which today claims more than 130 graduates.
The Central San Joaquin Valley Nursing Hall of Fame honors nursing leaders from Merced, Mariposa, Fresno, Tulare, Kern, and Kings counties. Clark was eligible as she resides in Atwater.
