Dorothy L. Merritt Dorothy Merritt, 85, of Turlock, passed away at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Aug. 21. She was born and raised in New Jersey. Dorothy lived in the Turlock/Modesto area most of her life. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church and the Salvation Army Turlock Corps. She enjoyed traveling, camping and nature. Dorothy will be missed by all who knew her.

John Hanley Cope John was born to Clifford and Alice Cope in Cleveland, Ohio in 1943. He worked as an auto mechanic for various companies over the last 55 years. He enjoyed anything that had wheels and an engine including cars, NASCAR, racing and attending swap meets and car shows.
