Celestino “Tino” Calderon

Celestino “Tino” Calderon, age 66, entered into Rest on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, followed by a Chapel Service at 6:00pm. Internment will be held on Saturday, August 25th, 10:00 am at Turlock     Memorial Park, 575 N.   Soderquist Rd., Turlock.

 

Mr. Calderon is survived by his wife, Ana M. Mares of Turlock; two sons, Matias Calderon and Andres Calderon both of Merced; one step-son, Sal Mares of Stagecoach, NV; two daughters, Mirella Calderon and Eloisa Calderon both of Merced; two step-daughters, Isela Scroggins of  Turlock and Imelda Mares of Sacramento; 12 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Francisca Alvarez. Mr. Calderon was a member of Templo Jordan of Turlock. He loved going to the ocean and rivers and he enjoyed working as a fruit vendor at flea markets. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family, especially grandchildren and friends.
