Robert Jensen, 71, of Modesto, passed away peacefully at his home. Robert was born in Stockton, CA to Olaf and Florence (Pratt) Jensen. He grew up on a dairy farm in Stevinson where they grew their own feed. A 1959 graduate of Hilmar High School, Robert worked for many years driving heavy equipment leveling land for farming. He enjoyed camping and fishing.  Favorite spots included the Melones and Pardee Lake Reservoirs. His wife Mary gave him a beautiful boat that Robert meticulously cleaned and polished for sport and fishing. He maintained his health and fitness by faithfully exercising and working out with weights.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Jensen of Modesto, daughter Natalie Blevins of Lathrop, CA, granddaughter Brittany Brown, a brother Phillip (Patricia) Jensen of Rio Vista, CA, and five nieces and nephews. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Sunday, August 26th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Funeral Service will be on Monday, August 27th at 1:00 pm at Allen Mortuary. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are suggested for the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
