Gina Hamnes

POSTED December 31, 2012 2:02 p.m.

An Angel on earth among us, so full of love and life, Gina unexpectedly went home to be with all her loved ones who passed before, at the age of 48. Born in Mt. View, CA and raised in Turlock.
Gina is survived by her father and stepmother, Kenneth and Marylee Hamnes of Copperopolis, her sisters, Rhonda Thomas and Denise White, brother Christian Blum, brother in law John Thomas, niece Miranda Thomas, nephew Vincent Thomas and uncle Ron Pendenza all of Turlock. Gina was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Pendenza, grandparents, Fernando and Rena Pendenza and Norman and Olga Hamnes.
Gina was fond of animals, especially those in need. Gina was the life of the party, center of attention and full of life. She was loved by all who knew her. Gone but never forgotten. Until we see you again, you will forever be remembered in our hearts as a fun loving and caring sister, niece, aunt, daughter and friend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Gina’s memory to Stanislaus Wildlife care Center at stanislauswildlife.org
A funeral will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 5 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. Turlock.  Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
