Marjorie D. Welsh

San Marcos resident, Marjorie Welsh, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 17, in Escondido.
Marjorie was born and raised in Pasadena to George and Olive Allen. She married her sweetheart, John “Jack” N. Welsh, and they lived in the Turlock area for sixty two years. She later moved to San Diego County, after Jack passed. Marjorie was a homemaker until her children were out of elementary schools and then worked as a secretary for Vapex Auto Parts for fifteen years, when Jack got ill and retired. She and Jack were also avid bowlers for years.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, her loving husband of forty nine years, and son Gerald D. Welsh. She is survived by her children, John N. Welsh Jr. and Nina L. Reina, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, Febr. 21st at Turlock Memorial Park.
