Mary was born the third of eight Lull children in her beloved Rogue Valley and graduated from Central Point High School in 1947. Married to Robert McDonald of Eagle Point, she lived in Pullman, Puyallup and Turlock before they established the family farm in Hughson; where she died after living there for forty-four years.
Raised in a granite pit on a forested hill, she never lost her love of mountains, rocks, growing and flowering things and her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert McDonald DVM; her parents Lucius and Helen Lull; brothers Lucius and Robert and sisters Dorothy Phoebe and Patricia.
She is survived by daughter Phoebe (Brian) Arakelian of Turlock; son Brian McDonald of Seattle, WA and granddaughters Lydia and Stephanie Arakelian.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Oregon Hunter’s Association Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice. Private services were held. Please share your memories at she is also survived by her brother Wilburt Lull and sister Louise Lull.
