Long time Turlock resident, Marcia Hartman, passed away Sunday at Memorial Hospital in Modesto.  Marcia was born in Dallas Texas.  She attended Central College in Kansas where she met her college sweetheart David Hartman, Sr. and they married in 1952.  After pastoring several churches in both Texas and California they moved to Turlock in 1973.  Marcia was employed with the Turlock School District as a secretary for nearly 30 years including 21 years at Osborn School.  Marcia’s love of music and playing the church organ for 60 years was truly a blessing.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Dalene & Jack Smith and granddaughter April of Perris, CA; Son and daughter-in-law David, Jr & Lisa Hartman and grandsons Davy III & Ricky of Upland, CA; Daughter and son-in-law Deena & Brian Coble and grandchildren Hailey, Savannah & Caleb of Tennessee; Daughter and son-in-law Dawn & Joe Lewis and grandchildren Kayla & Drew of Turlock, CA; Brother and sister-in-law James & Chris Good of Texas.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years David Hartman, Sr. 
A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday March 16, 11am at Turlock Free Methodist Church, 2006 E Tuolumne Rd.  Private burial will be held at Turlock Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Marcia Hartman memorial fund at the Turlock Free Methodist Church.
