Anne Cressio passed away on November 11, 2017 in Hughson, CA after a long, fulfilling life. She was 101 years old. 

Anne was born on August 15, 1916 to Peter and Helen Pregno. Raised in Merced, CA, she graduated from Merced High School. On October 4, 1942, she married the love of her life, Raymond Cressio and they started a family together. 

Anne’s bright, loving personality always had people gravitating towards her, no matter what town she lived in. She was involved in various organizations, from Pink Lady at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, CA to Lady Lioness Club in Oakland, CA to MANGIA – MANGIA club in Merced, CA. A woman of divine faith, Anne was also an avid member of the All Saint’s University Parish. In-between her various club activities, Anne’s favorite pastimes were gardening and cooking. 

Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cressio and her parents, Peter and Helen Pregno. She is survived by her son, Jim (Irene) Cressio of Tacoma, WA; her daughter, Patti Cressio of Turlock, CA; her son, Bob (Debbie) Cressio of Brentwood, CA; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock. A Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 17, at All Saints University Parish, 4040 McKenna Dr., Turlock. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alexander Cohen Hospice House at 2201 Euclid Ave., Hughson, CA 95326
