Florence Martin was born and raised in Fourche, Ark. She lived in Chicago and moved into the area in 1946 before settling in Hughson in 1968.  She was a member of VFW Post #5059 Ladies Auxiliary and loved to cook and spend time gardening. 
Florence is survived by her grandson, Scott (Mandy) Knowles of Hughson; and great granddaughter, Amantha Knowles.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sarah Fletcher; husband, Roy Martin; and daughter, Joe Ann Knowles.
Viewing will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 at Allen Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Oklahoma.
