Rosalinda E. Medeiros, 90, of Santa Clara, died April 25. She was born in 1921 in Cedros, Faial, Azores. She was a homemaker for 40 years and a member of Saint Clare Catholic Church of Santa Clara.
She is survived by her son, Manuel P. Escobar of Manteca; daughters, Maria Silva of Santa Clara and Maria Dutra of New York; brother, Antonio Pinheiro of San Jose; sisters, Lourdes Brum of Morgan Hill and Maria Pereira of San Jose; six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Silveirinha.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 1 at Lima Family Funeral Chapel, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Rosary/ Vigil will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 1 at the same location. A Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, May 2 at Saint Clare Catholic Church, 941 Lexington St., Santa Clara. Burial will be at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St., Santa Clara.
