Mom passed away peacefully at the age of 96.
She was born in Ontario, Calif. and raised in Ceres. She attended Faith Home Grammar School and graduated from Ceres High School.
She lived in Turlock for 73 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Anderson; brothers, Harold Anderson and Myron Anderson; and grandsons, Scott Chapman and Monte Puthuff.
She is survived by her daughters, Marla Chapman (Bud) of Sacramento and Wanda Russell (Marvin) of Modesto; son, Ronald Anderson (Stacy) of Turlock; sisters, Ruth Rash and Pearl Supran; brother, David Anderson; grandchildren, Mark Puthuff, Jana Chapman Plon, Todd Anderson, Matthew Chapman and Eric Anderson; and nine great grandchildren.
Special thanks to all the wonderful and caring staff at Bethel Retirement Home and Community Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel, 12th and G streets, Modesto.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Community Hospice or the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.
