James Herminghouse

James Herminghouse, 74, of Salida, passed away May 12, 2011, at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. James was born Nov. 12, 1936, in Florence, Colo. to the late Frank and Jessie Herminghouse. He was raised in Canyon City, Colo. and served in the United States Air Force. He then lived in Kansas and was a farmer on the family farm, and then he moved to Ontario, California where he was a mechanic. He lived in the Riverbank and Oakdale area in 1990, and worked for the school district. He then lived in Manassa, Colo. before settling in Salida in 2011. He liked car racing and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. 
He is survived by his daughter, Vickey Herminghouse of Kansas;  sister, Lillian Mansouri; nephews, Bryan Mansouri, Timothy Mansouri and Tony Herminghouse; and great nieces Yasmyn and Giana Mansouri, and Bailey Herminghouse. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Herminghouse. 
He will be laid to rest privately at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
