Raymond Olson

Ray Olson was born in 1923 to Albin and Edith Olson. He was a veteran of  World War II, where he served in the Pacific theater. He worked as a  mechanic both in the Army and afterward in various shops; even after  retirement he still found joy in working on vehicles and riding  motorcycles. 
He is survived by his children, Lee (Marion) Olson, Linda  (Stan) Johnson and Les Olson all of Turlock, and Lamont (Pat) Olson of Washington; siblings, Marlene Rome, Betty Gregor, Sherry Olson, Pauline Palmquist and Dorothy Lundquist; five grandchildren; eight great  grandchildren; and long time friend, Eleanor Enos of Denair. 
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby Ann Olson; and siblings, Don and Winnie. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 26 at San Joaquin Valley  National Cemetery.
