Ken J. Wills
June 25, 1948 - May 8, 2011
Our Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Kenneth James Wills, 62, left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior on May 8. He passed away in Denair at the home where he spent 24 years with his beloved family.
Ken was born June 25, 1948 in Boise, Idaho to James "Jim" Thomas and Sylvia (Carr) Wills. When he was 16, Ken and his family moved from Boise to Twin Falls, Idaho where he attended high school and graduated in 1967.
Ken Married Susan Wilkie while both were attending Idaho State University. After four days of courtship he proposed and they were married two weeks later on Valentine's Day 1970. Ken and Sue raised two daughters, Kristy and Shanna, who were born 18 years apart.
Everyone knew that Ken loved hot-rods and driving trucks. He was a trucker for 30 years and drove over three million miles.
Ken and Susan were soul mates and best friends for 41 years. He cherished his daughters, grandchildren and was especially proud of his son-in-law Glynn.
Ken is survived by his wife Susan (Wilkie) Wills of Denair; daughters Kristy (Glynn) Duncan of Idaho and Shanna Wills of Denair; grandchildren, Stephanie and Randy Duncan of Idaho; brother Myron (Suzanne) Wills, and family from Utah.
A memorial service to celebrate Ken's life will be held at 11 a.m. on May 28 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Turlock First Ward, 4300 Geer Road, Turlock. Graveside services will be held at Cloverdale Cemetery in Boise, Idaho. Date pending.
