Anoosh (Shamiran) Eliasnia

Anoosh Eliasnia, 89, passed away on May 24 in Turlock. She was born in Ormieh, Iran and was a homemaker.

In 1978, she and her late husband, Baba Eliasnia, emigrated to the U.S., settling in Turlock. She was a member of Assyrian Evangelical Church, and a life member of the Assyrian American Civic Club.

Mrs. Eliasnia is survived by her daughter, Clarice Eddy; and her sons, Roosevelt, Atoor and Ashoor Eliasnia.  She also leaves behind three daughters-in-law, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 28 at Turlock Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
