POSTED May 31, 2011 9:59 p.m.

Beverly Joann Williamson passed from this life to be with the Lord on May 24, 2011.

Bev was born on July 6, 1954, at the old Emanuel Hospital in Turlock. She was a wonderful and beautiful person to all who knew her. She was a first grade math/science magnate school teacher at Walnut Elementary School in Turlock. She was a gifted artistic designer, fabulous floral and interior decorator, not to mention her passion for gardening.

Bev was a member of Big Valley Grace Community Church in Modesto.  She was a longtime member of the church orchestra, playing her flute during the multiple Sunday morning services and the holiday orchestra at the Come Celebrate Christmas events. She was a children's leader at Bible Study Fellowship and also Community Bible Study. Bev trusted her Lord and savior for her every breath each and every day. She loved Him with a passionate heart! God truly blessed our entire family with Bev!

Bev is survived by her husband of 33 years, C. Ray Williamson of Turlock; her two sons, Justin Thomas Williamson (Danielle) of Pacific Grove and Jadon David Williamson of San Luis Obispo; her mother, Lil Gary of Ceres; loving sister, Joyce Ericksen of Turlock; and her brother, Bill Gary of Riverbank.

Bev was preceded in death by her youngest brother, Daniel Gary of King City, Calif.; and her loving father, Ralph E. Gary, Ceres.

She already is greatly missed by so many! Our comfort is the assurance we will see Bev once again in eternity because of her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our souls are comforted, until we meet again.

Please send any remembrances to Emanuel Hospice and Vanguard University.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 28 at Turlock Funeral Home.  Burial will be private at Turlock Memorial Park.

Please share your memories and condolences at www.turlockmemorialpark.com.
