August 1971 — May 2011

Robin Ann Boyd

POSTED May 31, 2011 10:01 p.m.

Robin Ann Boyd, 39, of Turlock passed away tragically last week.  Robin was born in Turlock to Jim and Claudia Ross.

She attended Turlock Christian Schools from kindergarten through high school.  Robin graduated from CSUS with her BA in Liberal Studies, teaching for five years; and was near completion of her Masters Degree in Nutritional Sciences through the University of Alabama ("Roll Tide!").  She was a certified Doula, assisting her sisters and several other women during their labor and childbirth.  Robin was a meticulous seamstress and recently had become an avid knitter.

Her three children were her passion.  She enjoyed being involved in their many school activities, PTA and greatly enjoyed all of the children knowing them all by name at the Julien School Walking Club, a club she established several years ago.  Robin valued time spent with close friends, her source of great encouragement.  Her faith was an integral part of her life, especially when facing trying times.  She loved camping at a young age with her family and Gramma and Papa, and later the annual camping trip to Smith Woods with her in-laws.

She leaves behind her husband, Steven; children, Spencer 15, Meredith 12, and Amelia 8; parents, Jim and Claudia Ross; sisters, Kimberly (Brent) Johnson, Amy (Jeremiah) Fair and Megan (Dennis) Leikam; grandparents, James and Eleanor Ross; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Joan Boyd; sister and brother-in-law, Linda (Craig) Boone; along with many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1 at Crossroads Church, Johnson and Arbor streets in Turlock.

Any remembrances can be made to a trust fund for the Children of Robin Boyd at F&M Bank of Central California.  Please leave memories and condolences at www.allenmortuary.com.
