Since its opening on Aug. 1, 2011, Dust Bowl Brewing Company's Tap Room has been packed to the gills nearly every night, locals and visitors alike fighting for the chance to taste the 35 beers presented by award-winning Dust Bowl Brewmaster Don Oliver.

“It’s been a great year,” said Dust Bowl Brewing Company founder/owner Brett Tate in August. “We have literally been going non-stop since day one here at the Tap Room as well as over at the brewery.”

It should come as no surprise that Dust Bowl was voted the Turlock Journal 2012 Readers' Choice for best bar/pub.

The Dust Bowl Tap Room, located at 200 West Main St., is open 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 12 midnight Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
