The Keyes to Learning Charter School’s junior high and high school students and faculty moved from its former location in Keyes to the Turlock Covenant Church in Turlock. Principal Lee Ann Stangl said the new official name of the school will be “The Key Academy.” Kindergarten through sixth grades will remain at the Keyes location and the name will remain “Keyes to Learning.”

“We really just had to move because our student enrollment was getting too big for the old campus. We had to share classrooms and make a lot of adjustments as we grew. It’s really a nice problem to have,” said Stangl.

About 125 students attend The Key Academy on a daily basis and 360 students are enrolled, some in the home-school program. The new location is a closed campus.
