The PINK is on

Pitman High School's office staff wears their PINK in support of Turlock Firefighters and Emanuel Cancer Center, as well as a co-worker who is currently fighting the battle

POSTED October 9, 2012 6:48 p.m.

It’s been four days since the Turlock Journal issued a challenge to other local businesses and organizations to support the Turlock Firefighters’ “Working Toward a Cure” t-shirt benefit for the Emanuel Cancer Center.

The office staff at Pitman High School and the employees of Cost Less Market answered that challenge, proudly wearing pink for the cause.

The Journal is continuing its challenge throughout the month of October. To purchase a Turlock Fire Breast Cancer Awareness shirt visit Turlockfirefighters.org, the Turlock Farmers’ Market downtown on Friday mornings, or the Emanuel Medical Center gift shop.

Send photos to Kristina Hacker at khacker@turlockjournal.com and include the name of the business or organization and names of employees for publication.
