Fair exhibitor deadlines approaching

While the 100-year anniversary celebration of the Stanislaus County Fair is still over a month away, exhibitor deadlines are quickly approaching.
Exhibit entry form deadlines for the 2011 Stanislaus County Fair are June 2 and June 9, by 5 p.m. This will be the final chance for exhibitors in the following divisions to enter in the competition at the Stanislaus County Fair.
The June 2 deadline applies to the following exhibits:
• 4-H/FFA Ag Horticulture
• 4-H/FFA Ornamental Horticulture
• FFA Ag Mechanics
• Jr. Industrial Arts
• All Open Junior and Senior entry forms (except Floriculture, Ag Horticulture and Wine and Beer)
• All Open and Junior Horse entries

The June 9 deadline applies to the following exhibits:
• Open Junior and Senior Ag Horticulture
• Wine & Beer
• Open Junior and Senior Floriculture
• 4-H/FFA Rabbits
• 4-H/FFA Poultry
• 4-H/FFA Cavies
• 4-H/FFA Dogs

"We know exhibitors have been working hard all year and sometimes submitting exhibitor paperwork can be the final step in the perfect fair project," said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. "Fortunately, exhibitors can enter online so meeting the deadline before it expires is as simple as a click of the mouse."

Entering the county's largest talent exhibition is easy and can be done from the comfort of your own computer. For online entry and entry forms visit www.stancofair.com/exhibitor-handbook. Exhibit information and entry forms may also be picked up at the Fair office, 900 N. Broadway in Turlock. Entries can also be done by mailing the forms to the Fair office.
The Exhibitor Handbooks are also available at the following locations (times and days for business hours vary): Denair Library, Hilmar Cheese, Hughson Library, Keyes Library, Cloths & Quilts, Turlock Library, Turlock Livestock Auction, Valley Distributors and Western Valley Insurance.
