POSTED April 26, 2011 9:36 p.m.

For the 20th year in a row, Turlock will spend a day celebrating the greener, leafier things in life.

Turlock's 20th annual National Arbor Day celebration on Friday will see the city plant 20 new trees in Donnelly Park.

The event will commence at 10 a.m. on Friday, with a brief opening ceremony. Trees will be planted at 10:30 a.m., and afterwards attendees are invited to stay, play in the park, and enjoy a picnic lunch.
