Three stabbed at party

The Turlock Police Department is investigating the stabbing of three individuals at a party shortly after the New Year was rung in.

The male victims were attending a house party in the 1500 block of Bluethroat Drive with an estimated 30 to 40 other guests when the stabbings occurred.

The details of what led up to the stabbing have not been released and no suspect information is available.

One victim, a 22-year-old man sustained life threatening wounds in the altercation and was flown by helicopter to a hospital for emergency surgery and remains in critical condition.

The two other victims, a 19-year-old man and a male — age unknown — both suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Investigators have been speaking with other partygoers and the investigation is ongoing.
