A host of heavily-armed law enforcement officials were on site during the serving of FBI search and arrest warrants in Turlock this morning.

Residents of Canal Drive, between Palm and Geer, were awakened early this morning to the sight of a military-style law enforcement operation.

A Special Weapons and Tactics armored vehicle rolled down Canal Drive around 8 a.m. and were accompanied by a host of unmarked vehicles, an ambulance and around a dozen heavily armed officers.

Few details have been released at this time, but initial reports are that the Federal Bureau of Investigations was serving search and arrest warrants.
