Fifteen baseball players from the Turlock area will participate in Saturday’s Modesto Sunrise Rotary Classic at John Thurman Field in Modesto. Pitman High and Turlock High each have five players in the large-school game at 7:05 p.m., while Denair High and Turlock Christian combine for five players for the small-school game at 3:05 p.m.

Pitman’s Adam Nascimento, Clay Cozzitorto, A.J. Derr, Brandon Lewis and Zach Olsen and Turlock’s Kevin Kramer, Ryan Cumberland, James Heller, Jeremy McDonald and Ryan Brown will all represent the East.

Denair’s Trevor Werner and Zak Bailey and Turlock Christian’s Dominick Walker, Brent Abraham and John Westberg will play in the small-school game for the West.
