Hilmar, TC volleyball looking to better playoff positions

Besides Pitman, the Hilmar High and Turlock Christian High volleyball squads are also trying to make moves up their respective playoff spots.

Turlock Christian is seeded 11th in the SJS Division V Tournament in the latest power ratings, with only the top 12 teams making the postseason. The Eagles were 14-12 overall and 7-4 in the Southern League entering Tuesday night’s match against Mariposa High.

 Hilmar sits at the sixth position in the SJS Division IV Tournament, enough for an opening-round playoff match.
