Dozens of Turlock-area athletes land all-league honors

Turlock High baseball’s 14-4 loss to St. Mary’s High in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I South Tournament marked the end of the spring season for all sports in the Turlock area.

With that come all-league honors.

Dozens of athletes from the Turlock area earned recognition from the Central California Conference, the Southern League and the Trans-Valley League. The highlights include Pitman High girls soccer sweeping all the top honors of offensive player of the year, defensive player of the year and coach of the year and Turlock High baseball had nine players selected to all CCC teams, in addition to having coach Mark de la Motte selected as the co-coach of the year.
