The Turlock Vikings won the 2011 JV Super Bowl Championship on Saturday at Atwater High School when they defeated the Manteca Jaguars 30-12. Kylie Viray, a 7-year-old Turlocker, won the all around state gymnastics championship in Lemoore with an overall score of 37.225. Viray also won the balance beam championship with a 9.3 in only her second year of competition. Turlock now has a fastpitch softball program for local girls. Founded last summer, the Turlock Stingrays Youth Softball Club is a fast-growing program that allows the girls of Turlock a team to hone and improve their softball skills.
