Turlock gets softball Hall of Fame award

The City of Turlock was recently awarded the James Farrell Award for its successful hosting of the Girls 16 & 18 and Under Fast Pitch Western Nationals in July 2012—one of the highest rated National Tournaments of the year with a score of 99 out of 100.

The award was presented in front of 175 people at the 2013 Greater San Joaquin Hall of Fame Ceremony at the Grape Festival Grounds in Lodi. Turlock was one of only a few cities in the country to receive the award.
