POSTED April 13, 2018 8:51 p.m.

Violinist Brad Repp and pianist/actor Aldo Gentileschi will combine their virtuosic musicianship, theatrical humor and pop culture for a performance hosted by the Turlock Concert Association on April 17.

Duo Baldo was born in 2002 when American Violin student Brad Repp and aspiring actor Aldo Gentileschi casually met at a quaint café on the outskirts of Florence, Italy. The duo began experimenting with new show ideas, and eventually became the highlight of the town, drawing in audiences from all over week after week. Now, the duo has recorded over 1,000 performances in major concert halls and theatres around the world. The charismatic duo combines classic music and comedy in a unique way that has delighted audiences around the world.

The show is set for 7 p.m. April 17 at the Turlock Community Auditorium at the Turlock Unified School District Building. This is the final concert of the 2017-2018 Season. Single tickets for non-subscribers for this event are $25, $15 for students. Season subscription also includes reciprocal tickets at several affiliated associations in the region.  For tickets, subscriptions, or further information, call Ruth Cunningham 634-0788 or Eric Julien 667-5874, or visit http://www.turlockconcert.org/tickets.php for pricing.  Tickets and season subscriptions will also be available at the door.
