Spring Juried Art Show

Entries are being sought for the 2013 Spring Juried Art Show, a collaboration of the Turlock City Arts Commission and the Carnegie Arts Center.

Categories include Oils and Acrylics, Photography, Sculpture, Drawing and Works on Paper, and Mixed Media and Prints. Best of Show winner will receive $1,000 and each first in category winner, $250.The deadline to submit entries is April 7, with the show slated for May 4 through June 30 at the Carnegie.

There were more than 175 entries in the 2012 show and of this number 83 were selected for the exhibition, from a total of 38 artists. Last year nature took top honors with David Bienkowski and his painting “Arboreal Journey,” being awarded Best in Show.
