Dillon — Huntley

POSTED May 6, 2011 9:34 p.m.

Hettilee Fern Dillon and Matthew Carleton Huntley, both of Stockton, were married at Grace Vineyards in Galt.

Hettilee is the daughter of Jackquelyn Dillon of Monterey. She is a graduate of El Dorado High School in Placerville and attended Consumnes River College. She was formerly employed as a diagnostic imaging receptionist at Marshall Medical Center in Placerville.

Matthew is the son of Richard and Vivien Huntley of Turlock. He is a graduate of Lodi High School, San Joaquin Delta College and the University of the Pacific. Matthew is employed as a manufacturing engineer for Applied Aerospace.

The weather was perfect for the outdoor October ceremony, which was attended by 85 guests. Harp music was provided by Pamela Pamperin. The bride wore a strapless gown of cream chiffon with a beaded empire waist. She carried a bouquet of orange lilies and dahlias, keeping with the autumn color scheme of green, orange, brown and cream.

The bride was escorted by Dennis McCarthy of Placerville. Denny McCarthy of Sacramento, the bride’s best friend, served as honor attendant. Karon Abbott of Placerville, the bride’s lifelong friend, served as bridesmaid.

The best man was Michael Huntley of Pacifica. Bud Bettencourt of Stockton, a close friend of the groom, served as usher. The bride’s grandmother, Mary Dillon, was a special guest.

Grace Vineyards catered a prime rib and salmon buffet for the reception following the ceremony, and “A Night to Remember” acted as DJ.

The two made their home in Stockton.
