Rain

POSTED August 12, 2011 9:30 p.m.

Let the rain fall

And cleanse my soul,

Erase my demons,

And start me anew

Let it wash away all of my sorrows

So I can kiss my fears goodbye

This new life I have been given

Won't waste away like the ashes

I hold the ashes of my old life in my hand

And blow them into the wind

For they will stay in the wind and disappear

Never to return again

Let the rain fall

And wash away my old life

For when the sun comes back again

It will all just be a distant memory

Erase my demons,

And start me anew

Let it wash away all of my sorrows

Never to return again

Let the rain fall

And wash away my old life

For when the sun comes back again

It will all just be a distant memory
