Auto theft suspects apprehended

A man and a woman are facing a litany of criminal charges after they were caught in a stolen vehicle Monday in Turlock.

The Stanislaus County Auto Theft Task Force reported seeing Rose Marie Meister-Geer, 35, driving a stolen Honda in the area of Crane and Minaret avenues Monday. Her passenger was identified as Harun Sulaiman McDaniels, 40.

With the assistance of the Turlock Police Department, StanCATT  stopped the vehicle and the pair were taken into custody without incident.

Meister-Geer was charged with auto theft, possession of a stolen automobile, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. McDaniels was charged with auto theft, possession of a stolen automobile, possession of drug paraphernalia and he was also charged with a parole violation.
